MESSAGE FROM Patty "WILDCAT" Dimitriou
Thunderbird Throttle began with a simple yet powerful vision—to unite riders, communities, and advocates in raising awareness for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) crisis while celebrating the strength, resilience, and culture of Indigenous peoples.
What started as a ride in Arizona has grown into a movement, and we are honored to bring Thunderbird Throttle to Hawaii. As our journey expands, our purpose remains unchanged: to stand together in support of Indigenous communities, amplify the voices of families impacted by MMIP, and inspire action through connection, education, and community.
Join us in Honolulu on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for a day of riding, cultural celebration, and meaningful engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with Indigenous leaders, advocates, youth, and community members while honoring the lives of those who have been impacted by the MMIP crisis. Together, we will celebrate Indigenous cultures through community, tradition, and shared purpose.
Whether you are riding with us, volunteering, sponsoring the event, or attending in support, your participation helps strengthen awareness and expand resources for Indigenous communities. Every mile ridden and every person who joins this journey contributes to a growing movement of hope, healing, and advocacy.
Thank you for being part of Thunderbird Throttle. We look forward to riding alongside you as we continue this important journey together.
In Harmony,
Patty Dimitriou
Founder, Thunderbird Throttle
